God has been actively involved in the restoration of both male and female identity and purpose since the fall; beginning with the first animal He sacrificed in order to cover Adam and Eve’s nakedness. The process continued with the shedding of Jesus Blood as an atonement for the sins of this world. However, the most intense period of restoration has been reserved for the end time, prior to the final confrontation with satin himself.
Ignorance of the fact that God has
been working since the fall to restore men and women to their proper
place as guardians of this world, has been of tremendous advantage to
the devil. By assuming as believers, that women do not have a role to
play in the end time battle that is raging all around us, has kept
the Body of Christ from becoming a force to reckon with. Since it
will take the entire Body of Christ to crush satin’s head, and half
the Body are women, it becomes vital for women to break free from the
religious bondage that has kept them from rising to their full
potential.
There are two major prophecies that describe the restoration of women
in context to establishing God’s Kingdom on earth. One has to do
with the birth of the Messiah and with the crushing of satins head.
The second involves the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all
mankind in order to bring liberty to a large majority of captives
from satins prison of deception. Both inside the religious
institutions and well as the world
First is found in Genesis 3:15 “And
I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your
offspring and hers; he (Jesus Christ)will crush your head, and you
will strike his heel.”
The second is a quote by Peter in Acts2:17-21,34-35 “In the last
days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons
and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your
old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women I
will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will
show wonders in the heavens above and signs on
the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will
be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the
great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the
name of the Lord will be saved.” “ For David ascended not into
the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit
thou on my right hand, Till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy
feet.”
Both of these scriptures foretold
of satins defeat, bruising of his head is the first one. (Genesis
3:15) And turning him and his demons into footstools for Jesus feet
in the other. (Acts2: 34-35) While Acts2:17-21 depict women as a
vital role, first carrying the seed of satins defeat in the form of a
Messiah, as well as her role alongside of men aimed at setting satins
captives free. Therefore, placing the enemy under our feet, both male
and female.
Many within the church assume that
these few prophecies have been fulfilled; as a result all we need to
do is wait for the rapture. Even though a significant amount was
completed at the cross, a lot still has not come to pass. Although,
satin was given a fatal wound when Christ shed His precious blood, on
the cross, descended to Hades and rose victories after asserting
authority over the devil and his demons. This is was not the final
blow, but rather a very important opening match. The full battle will
not be won, until; “Then cometh the end, when He (Jesus) shall
deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He (Jesus) shall
have abolished all rule and all authority and power. For He (Jesus)
must reign, till He hath put all His enemies under His feet. The last
enemy that shall be abolished is death.” (1
Corinthians 15:24-26)
It is also
vital for the restoration of women as well as men, that we begin to
accept one another as equals. More to the point men need to step down
from the pedestal of superiority over women, and begin to help God
restore women to their proper place within the God’s Kingdom on
earth. And women need to let go of their own religious misconception,
which have caused serious division among the genders.
